Quail Hill, Irvine, California

Identity, signage, and wayfinding is an important component of any new neighborhood development. The vision for this new community in Irvine was inspired by the native fauna found here on the site, the colors, textures, and patterns, all derived from the immediate context. Both temporary and permanent signage through the project lead the homeowner to the schools, parks, community centers, and different neighborhood developments. Unique identities for each of the components were established but kept within the overall family aesthetic. The use of hand painted Spanish tiles give the development a unique character.
