Estação Viana, Viana do Castelo, Portugal

RSM Design was selected to create the branding, visual identity, and wayfinding signage package for this new development in the seaside village of Viana do Costelo. The mixed use and inter-modal transportation project incorporates an historic train station and brings train and bus travel together, anchored by a multi-level retail destination. The travel concept inspired the RSM team to use streamlined shapes, along with bold colors and numbers in the signage, as well as terraces of decorative cobblestone paving, reminiscent of streets used throughout Portugal.
